Marine Electronics Technician/Engineer

To support our ongoing expansion we require the services of a further Marine Electronics Technician/Engineer. You would ideally have had at least
5 years experience in the industry Installing, and maintaining Electronics onboard Ocean going ships and/or Fishing vessels and whiteboats. The following would be well regarded:

  • Experience with Gyro Compass, GMDSS, and ECDIS/Satcom computer systems would be well regarded – Experience with Furuno, JRC, KH, Anschutz, Yokogawa, TKC equipment – GMDSS Surveying and VDR APT. You will need to be a self starter with a desire to look for work and assist with our expansion. You will be required to travel extensively and be prepared to work unsupported in isolated areas. General Manager

Seabourne Electronics requires the services of a General Manager duties would include:

  • Everyday running of a busy Marine Electronics sales and service centre.
  • Financial control.
  • Staff Management.
  • Business Development.

    You would ideally have a Marine or Industrial Electronics Background and have the motivation to expand the existing business into the white boat market and expanding industrial electronics market. You would need to mentor junior technicians and give direction to the senior technicians - An expansion into a branch offices in other ports is envisaged in the near future so the future hiring of staff will need to be organised.

An outgoing personality and the desire to promote Seabourne Electronics in every possible direction is required. Salary and Conditions would be discussed at interview.
